The StratusLink Platform — All Your Data Has to Work Together.
The StratusLink Platform is a secure data cloud-computing framework that enables healthcare organizations to rapidly harvest and leverage all data from within clinical, financial, and operational systems enabling them to develop a more complete view of the patient care lifecycle
StratusLink is delivered through component architecture developed on enterprise information management and business intelligence technologies. StratusLink Interoperability is built on three service components:
1. StratusLink Integration
2. StratusLink Integrity
3. StratusLink Intelligence.
StratusLink Integration collects and unifies clinical, financial and operations data regardless of source or format. StratusLink interoperates with proprietary technologies as well as industry standards, supports database and application adapters, and lays the foundation for a real-time enterprise. Sources include Patient Registration, EMRs/EHRs, Scheduling, Lab reports, Clinical Systems, Financial Systems, and other enterprise operational systems.
Integration Adapters: Integration components facilitate the creation of a centralized repository/directory of patient and provider information by rapidly collecting data from virtually any source, on any platform—with no custom coding required. Data can be gathered in a wide range of standardized formats, such as HL7, HIPAA, CDA, ICD10, or LOINC code sets. Change data capture agents support various RDBMS log replication.
Real-time and Messaging: The solution includes an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) that supports multiple integration patterns including parallel processing and data federation, complex event processing and enables the creation, composition, and management of web services and services invoked through alternate interfaces (legacy). It provides secure multi-channel message integration as well as secure file transfers, and web services with HL7, HIPAA, EDI, and other message formats. Dynamic business activity monitoring provides end-to-end tracking of transactions and workflows across applications and business units, as well as the display and assessment of metrics.
Data Load and Transformation: The solution provides integrated, advanced extract, transform, and load (ETL) capabilities, including dynamic capture of events and changed data. Event based and scheduled extracts can be automatically enriched and fed to any enterprise target. This provides low- and medium-latency events, as well as transactions and batch oriented integration.
StratusLink Integrity: provides more than just a registry for longitudinal patient records. It provides Master Patient Index, Master Data Repository and Audit-trail capabilities that support multiple hierarchies, multiple domains and multiple unique identifiers that maintain cross-domain links to the operational sources of patient, provider, location, employee information—in an integrated delivery network. StratusLink is completely extensible to master other unique identifiers (UID).
Single Source of Truth records provide a comprehensive healthcare extensible data model that unifies clinical, financial, compliance, workforce, and research development (R & D) data domains including: historical data. The Repository is an aggregation of data sources that preserves a single version of the truth (SVT) to support analytical reporting and downstream applications. It provides data marts with report-friendly three-tier hierarchy—summary, highly summarized, and KPIs.
Data Profiling: The solution combines data quality capabilities with advanced business intelligence to help healthcare organizations determine the characteristics and attributes of their enterprise information. Data can be viewed, monitored, compared, and reported on for insight into uniqueness, frequency, masks, relationships, and other statistics.
Data Quality: The solution provides cleansing and standardization as well as matching, de-duplication, and merging functions which preserves the integrity of patient and related data. These functions utilize pre-defined business rules and localized dictionaries, enabling organizations to track data quality issues from start to finish, ensuring that corrections, related workflows, and approvals are handled in an effective fashion.
Master Data Management: The solution provides a MPI/MDM solution that integrates seamlessly with existing infrastructure leveraging integration adapters. Designed to integrate seamlessly with existing systems, this solution consolidates millions of records according to configurable business rules. Processes can directly leverage predefined MDM services ranging from simple patient management to searches, including patient unification with additional entities.
Data Governance: Data governance allows companies to catch errors as transactions occur, before they have a chance to infiltrate the various systems on which they rely. Data is managed at every stage, and in every system, as it is collected, or accessed by users.
StratusLink Intelligence provides Google®-like, search-driven analytics that support imbedded domain specific KPIs, KPI development on-the-fly, plain English data queries, dashboards, portal, and reporting functions that support information delivery across the enterprise and beyond. StratusLink intelligence requires little or no training and is designed for authorized administrators, clinicians, staff, and analysts across the organization. These components enable StratusLink customers to have a better view of the patient care lifecycle, have real-time visibility into clinical and business operations and to make better informed decisions that continually improve organizational performance.
Plain English, Google®-like Search: Enables anyone involved in managing or measuring performance to quickly and easily query, visualize, analyze and share information via dashboards, presentations or reports with little more technical skills than required to search the internet.
Clinical performance management: Enables executives and administrators to quickly identify underperforming areas, spot trends, and justify changes in budget, staffing levels, and resource utilization through dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics
Analytics: Provides data-driven, evidence-based decision support with easy-to-use guided ad hoc analytics. End users with little or no training can examine data across many dimensions—by patient, service, department, provider, payer, and more. This provides end users with the ability to identify best practices, enable smarter service planning, find process improvements and develop ways to increase revenue.
Operational reporting: Extends information to the point-of-care providing self- service operational reporting for clinical staff and administrators. By extending reporting capabilities to everyone who impacts operations, individuals make better-informed decisions, resulting in higher productivity, cost-efficiency and process improvement.
Enterprise search: Provides users with a Google-like interface that can search across structured and unstructured data for clinical research. Once records have been identified, the user may leverage intuitive tools to further analyze the results of the search to uncover relationships between symptoms, diagnoses, treatments, outcomes, or various demographic groups that they never knew existed.
StratusLink makes acquiring and leveraging your data quick and affordable. Our approach to data management is open and agnostic. Our proprietary process integrates all your data into a storage repository that holds your raw data in its native format until it is needed. The data is cleansed and authenticated for integrity and unified as longitudinal patient records (Single Sources of Truth). Each data element is assigned a unique identifier, tagged with a set of metadata tags and is ready for query, visualization or analysis (intelligence) from desktops, laptops, tablets or smartphones.
StratusLink Governance: provides rules-based access to data based on policies and conditions such as organizational role, patient attribution, and contract rights between entities. By acting as a trusted broker for these models, StratusLink enables patient data to be made available in appropriate ways consistent with agreed upon business rules and regulatory policies. It also fosters the formation of relationships between payers, providers, plans and others as models grow and evolve.
StratusLink Patient Matching: provides comprehensive support for myriad attribution models at the panel, registry, and measure set levels. StratusLink provides support for standard Primary Care Provider (PCP), CMS four-cut method attribution and a wide array of customizable patient-to-provider, care team, or care coordinator attribution criteria including specialty, provider type, department, visit frequency, or visit order (i.e. first to see, last to see).
